Moonwalk 2017 in Leivere!

JN Leveroy gaat samen met de provinciale koepel organisatie JongNL de Moonwalk 2017 organiseren in Leveroy! Deze activiteit vindt plaats in het weekend van 11 en 12 maart 2017.

De Moonwalk is een nachtelijke hike die gelopen wordt met bepakking . De tocht voert langs akker- en weilanden, bossen en beken en is zo’n 20 kilometer lang. Onderweg zijn er daarnaast een tiental posten, waar diverse opdrachten moeten worden uitgevoerd. De activiteit is actief en best zwaar. Je kunt kennismaken met andere jongeren, ervaringen uitwisselen en plezier maken. Kortom: een activiteit die je tenminste één keer in je leven moet meemaken. De Moonwalk is een van de best bezochte activiteiten van JongNL; er doen meer dan 300 jongeren uit de hele provincie aan mee!

Voor het organiseren van deze Moonwalk zijn er veel vrijwilligers nodig voor de diverse posten, het verzorgen van het ontbijt, etc. We hopen dat we een beroep kunnen doen op onze oud-leiding en ook vrijwilligers van onze collega verenigingen in Leveroy.

Een nieuw JN Leveroy seizoen!

De lange, hete zomervakantie is weer bijna afgelopen. Jammer, maar niet getreurd, want dat betekent ook het begin van een spiksplinternieuw JN Leveroy seizoen!

We beginnen met onze wekelijkse groepsbijeenkomsten op maandag 12 september. Benieuwd wie jullie leiding wordt het komende jaar? Dat kun je nu al zien op de groeps pagina. Binnenkort wordt ook de folder gemaild met daarin alle informatie.

Kom naar de ouderavond!

De kampweek is begonnen! De weersvooruitzichten zien er goed uit, dus niets staat ons meer in de weg om er weer een fantastische kampweek van te maken!

We willen alle ouders, opa’s en oma’s en andere belangstellenden graag van harte uitnodigen op de ouderavond. Deze vindt dit jaar plaats op woensdag 27 juli vanaf 19.00 uur. De kampplaats is dit jaar dichtbij, dus pak eens de fiets in plaats van de auto! De routebeschrijving is als volgt:

– Rij Leveroy uit via de Kerkstraat in de richting Heythuysen
– Sla de eerste weg linksaf, Onderweg
– Sla linkaf en direct weer rechtsaf, Scheyvenhofweg
– Sla linksaf, Maxeterdijk
– Sla de tweede weg rechtsaf, Aan de Bergen
– Blijf deze weg volgen, totdat je de bekende bordjes van JN Leveroy ziet

De ouderavond duurt tot ongeveer 20.30 uur.

We zijn er klaar voor!

Na veel samen overleggen en knutselen tijdens de kamp voorbereidings dag, zijn we klaar voor  het hoogtepunt in het JN Leveroy seizoen, onze jaarlijkse kampweek.

Maar liefst 65 leden gaan dit jaar mee op kamp, inclusief 20 minioren leden die twee dagen komen. We vertrekken op zondag 24 juli om 9.30 uur met de fiets bij het JN Leveroy gebouw.

We hebben er weer heel veel zin in en als het weer wat mee wil werken, maken we er weer een hartstikke mooie kampweek van!

De groepsbijeenkomsten voor dit jaar zitten er inmiddels weer op. We willen alle leden daarom alvast  een mooie zomervakantie wensen en we zien elkaar weer tijdens de kampweek of begin september tijdens de eerste groepsbijeenkomst in het nieuwe seizoen.

O ja, let er even op, dat de ouderavond tijdens de kampweek dit jaar op de woensdagavond plaatsvindt in plaats van de gebruikelijke dinsdag avond. Meer informatie hierover volgt binnenkort!

Kamp 2016: Kosmos in het bos

Er is een ruimteschip neergestort boven het grondgebied van Heythuysen. Deze zomer van zondag 24 t/m vrijdag 29 juli start JN Leveroy een grootschalige zoekactie.

Ook heeft ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA de leden van JN Leveroy gevraagd een gloednieuw, high tech ruimteschip te ontwerpen die bestand is tegen alle rondzwervende onderdelen in de ruimte.

Een ruimteschip dat zó sterk is dat het moeiteloos de maan, of zelfs andere nog onbekende bestemmingen, kan bereiken. Mysterieuze, nieuwe planeten: plekken waar nog nooit iemand is geweest!

Het moet volgens de ruimtevaartorganisatie het sterkste ruimteschip worden sinds Saturnus V, die gebruikt werd bij de maanlandingen. Een raket die in staat is ook astronauten en voorraden naar het internationale ruimtestation te brengen, zo’n 350 kilometer van de aarde vandaan!

De eerste bemande vlucht van dit gloednieuwe ruimteschip staat gepland op 28 juli 2016 in Heythuysen.

Kamp 2016: Kosmos in het bos

De NASA meldt dat er boven het grondgebied van Heythuysen een ruimteschip is neergestort.

Volgens de woordvoerder van de NASA is het ruimteschip waarschijnlijk in botsing gekomen met een F28 starfighter van de Amerikaanse Navy Seals tijdens een routinevlucht.

De NASA zal bij Nederlandse autoriteiten een verzoek indienen voor een gezamenlijke zoekactie de komende zomer. Omdat de leden van JN Leveroy toch al op kamp gaan in Heythuysen, worden zij gevraagd om hierbij te komen helpen.

Er zijn nog geen sporen van leven gevonden maar het is niet uit te sluiten dat het om een bemand ruimteschip gaat. Toename van het aantal graancirkels in de omgeving doet immers meer vermoeden….

12 Mei: Spek-de-kas actie!

De actie vindt dit jaar plaats op donderdag 12 mei a.s. We hopen daarom dat u dan tussen 18.00 uur en 20.00 uur thuis bent om een zak snoep van ons te kopen. Meer dan één zak mag natuurlijk ook!

Het geld dat we hiermee hopen te verdienen, wordt gebruikt om onze vereniging draaiende te houden. We willen namelijk graag de contributie zo laag mogelijk houden, zodat het voor iedereen betaalbaar blijft om lid te worden van onze vereniging.
